Income of Azerbaijani population rising

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population increased by 8.2 percent in January-November 2017 as compared to the same period of 2016, and reached 43.39 billion manats, according to a report of the country’s State Statistics Committee.

The report says that the per capita income in the period was 4,459 manats or 405.37 manats per month, with an increase of 7.2 percent.

The income that remained at the disposal of the population accounted for 39.69 billion manats in the period that is 8.4 percent more than in January-November 2016.

According to the report, 84.8 percent of the population’s incomes accounted for consumer spending, 8.5 percent – for taxes, social insurance and voluntary membership fees, 1.8 percent – for interest payments on loans, and 4.9 percent – for fees.
