Additional investments to be made in Turkey’s Antalya

Additional investments worth 4.5 billion Turkish liras will be made in Turkey’s Antalya resort province, Antalya’s municipality said in a message Dec. 22.

"In particular, investments worth 1.20 billion Turkish liras will be made in the construction of the 40 kilometer-Bogacayi canal, which will have access to the Mediterranean Sea," the message said.

According to the message, 905 million liras will be invested in the reconstruction of cruise ports.

"An amount of 845 million liras will be allocated for the construction of a film studio and parking lot in Antalya province, while 90 million liras for carrying out the measures to prevent floods in the province," the message said.

The Islamic Cultural Center worth 178.9 million lira will be built in the province.

"These investments will contribute to the growth of tourism sector in the province," the message said.
