Kazakh armature factory eyes to increase exports

The Kazakh armature factory intends to increase exports after modernization which is planned to be launched in 2018 and to be finished in 2019, Kazinform news agency reported citing Tatyana Rybalko, deputy director of the factory, as saying Jan. 9.

"Our plant can compete with the world companies producing insulators,” she said. “The plant will fully meet Kazakhstan's needs and plans to enter the world market after modernization."

“Insulators are supplied to Azerbaijan and Russia,” she said. "The plant produces 500,000 insulators a year and intends to produce 2 million insulators a year, that is, increase production by 4 times."

The plant uses ready-made components and assembles glass insulators for power lines. This is the only plant assembling insulators in Kazakhstan. The plant is operating through investors’ funds.
