Net foreign assets of the banking system of Uzbekistan increased by 1.56 percent in 4Q17 and amounted to 222.6 trillion soums as of January 1, 2018, the press service of the country’s Central Bank told Trend.
Net domestic assets of monetary corporations increased by 2.66 percent to 149.4 trillion soums, while net domestic loan decreased by more than 1.5 times to 142 trillion soums in the period.
Net claims of the banking system on the government decreased by 1.63 percent to 123.8 trillion soums and the claims on the Reconstruction and Development Fund decreased by 2.2 percent to 99.8 trillion soums in the last three months of 2017.
