Kazakhstan’s Karaganda Region presented the largest number of projects under the "Ruhani Zhangyru" program, which involves 238 projects and actions planned by the regional executive body.
"The 'Ruhani Zhangyru' program is a large-scale national project initiated by the head of the government. It is unique in that it affects all spheres of social life. This project is a kind of ideological platform of the society," said the head of the regional office for implementation of the program Gulnar Kurbanbayeva, the press service of the region’s executive body said in a message.
The cost of the projects implemented in the region in 2018 amounts to 4.7 billion tenge ($14.5 million), according to preliminary estimates.
Karaganda represented the largest number of projects in the republican register of the "Ruhani Zhangyru" program. The region plans to implement 430 projects, sub-projects and activities from 2017 to 2022.
