Eighteen deals were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week, the state exchange said in a message.
Entrepreneurs from Russia, the UAE, Scotland, Turkey, Pakistan, Lithuania and others purchased refined cottonseed oil, cotton yarn and harsh fabrics.
The total cost of the deals exceeded $3.242 million.
Representatives of business circles of Russia, the UK and the Netherlands purchased caterpillar excavators, as well as refined cottonseed oil, cotton yarn for a total amount of over 16.494 million Turkmen manats.
Companies and organizations, citizens of Turkmenistan and other states can participate in exchange trading, through the purchase of a seat at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange or conclusion of a service contract with brokers at the exchange. The main export items are oil products, cotton fiber, as well as products of the domestic textile and chemical industries.
