In 2017, facilities of Uzbekistan Building Materials (Ozqurilishmateriallari) JSC produced goods worth 3.1 trillion soums, which is 8.1 percent more than in 2016 and 1.2 percent more than the forecasted figures of last year, the company told Trend.
As part of the production localization program, output grew 1.7 times during the reporting period and amounted to 79.1 billion soums, which is 4.8 percent more than the forecasted figures.
New equipment worth $9.8 million was installed in six big facilities of the construction industry, and this made it possible to save 23 million cubic meters of gas and 22 million kilowatt hours of energy.
Last year, investments worth 2.4 trillion soums were attracted to the implementation of 2,300 projects. Of this amount, 1.1 trillion soums were attracted at the expense of own funds of the Ozqurilishmateriallari JSC, almost 1 trillion soums were attracted at the expense of bank loans and $79.4 million - through foreign investments.
Ozqurilishmateriallari JSC was established in May 1997.
