Turkmenistan, Bangladesh mull prospects of trade, economic co-op

Turkmenistan’s Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bangladesh (with a residence in Tehran) Majibur Rahman Bhuiyan, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a message.
The parties discussed trade and economic relations and the establishment of contacts between business structures of the two countries.
Turkmenistan and Bangladesh have all the opportunities for greater intensification of relations in the field of agriculture and textile industry, according to the message.
Moreover, the sides, noting the role of cooperation within international organizations, expressed commitment to further expanding political and diplomatic cooperation.
“In this context, the parties noted the role of visits at the highest level,” says the message.
Turkmenistan and Bangladesh marked the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations in 2017.
