The International Exhibition of Industrial Products, Equipment and Modern Technologies has kicked off in Ashgabat, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan said in a message.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has sent his greetings to the participants of the event, which will continue until Feb. 2.
Much attention is paid to the development of private property, entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan, and enormous opportunities are created in this direction in order to stimulate production initiatives, implement joint investment projects with foreign partners, reads the appeal of the Turkmen president.
International Fairs Group IFG is the co-organizer of the event.
Construction materials, vehicles and technical equipment for the chemical, energy, oil and gas industry and food facilities are presented at the exhibition.
Manufacturers of household appliances, equipment for the textile industry, healthcare, companies involved in the science and space technologies, transport and logistics spheres, as well as those rendering trade services and consultations, present their achievements at the exhibition. High-level conferences, consultations from international experts are planned to be held as part of the event.
