Turkey sees decrease in Russian companies registered in February

In February 2018, 27 companies with Russian capital were registered in Turkey, which is one company less than in February 2017, according to a report of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
Total capital of Russian companies registered in Turkey amounted to 1.2 million Turkish liras in February 2018, while it stood at 1.8 million Turkish liras in February 2017.
A total of 58,422 foreign companies were registered in Turkey in 2017. In 2017, the number of registered German companies was 428, Syrian - 256, Iranian - 231 and Russian - 146.
The number of registered foreign companies in Turkey grew 14.38 percent in 2017 compared to 2016.
