Total turnover of the Toshkent Republic Stock Exchange (RSE) reached 7.5 billion soums during March 12-19 trade week, what is more than 2 times higher compared to the previous week (3.3 billion).
The press office of the exchange said that a total of 87 deals were carried out on securities of 20 joint stock corporations. As a result, 5 million securities were realized.
The press office reported that deals on securities of banks and leasing companies were the most popular and accounted for 58.7 and 40.7 percent of the total trade volume correspondingly.
The largest deal was carried out on March 14. It resulted in 3 billion soums worth 1.3 million securities of the Simurg JSC being sold. Price of one security was 2,304 soums.
The Hamkorbank JSCB was a leader in number of deals carried out. During the week, 984.900 securities of the bank totaling 152.8 million soums were realized in 46 deals at the Toshkent RSE.
Average daily turnover of the exchange totaled 1.2 billion soums, with average deal amount being 85.8 million soums. At the same time, average price of a security amounted to 1,495 soums.
Simurg JSC with 40.7 percent weekly turnover share, Turonbank JSCB with 24.7 percent, Universal bank JSCB with 21.2 percent, and Ravnaq-bank PJSCB with 10.7 percent were leaders of the trade week.
Since the beginning of 2018, 587 deals on securities amounting to 32.3 billion soums were carried out at Toshkent RSE. A total of 151.8 securities from 50 emitters were traded.
