Uzbek entrepreneurs will be allowed to export goods and deposit money to commercial banks on the territory of the country in foreign currency, the press office of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said in its message.
The changes are aimed at creating more favorable conditions for export activity.
According to the information, the entrepreneurs will now be able to export goods (services) to non-residents in foreign cash currency via local commercial banks and deposit there foreign currency, acquired from sell of goods in fairs and exhibitions held abroad.
A number of documents are not necessary anymore when accepting foreign currency in commercial banks.
The individuals won’t be required to present a passenger customs declaration or commercial bank’s note on withdrawal of foreign currency funds from non-resident natural person’s account, as well as constitutive documents on acceptance of foreign currency to the authorized capital.
