Number of visiting tourists from Central Asia to Turkey for Feb. 2018 revealed

In February 2018, 145,349 citizens of the Central Asian countries, namely, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, visited Turkey, according to the report of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

According to the report, 24,876 Kazakh citizens visited Turkey in February 2018, which is 6,499 people more compared to February 2017.

In February 2018, 0.83 percent accounted for the share of Kazakh citizens in a total number of foreign citizens who visited Turkey.

"According to the report, in February 2018, 31,883 Turkmen citizens visited Turkey, which is 5,572 people more compared to February 2017,” the report said. “In February 2018, 1.07 percent accounted for the share of Turkmen citizens in a total number of foreign citizens who visited Turkey."

In February 2018, 33,888 Uzbek citizens visited Turkey, which is 13,353 people more compared to February 2017. In February 2018, 1.13 percent accounted for the share of Uzbek citizens in a total number of foreign citizens who visited Turkey.

According to the report, in February 2018, 16,925 Kyrgyz citizens visited Turkey, which is 4,401 people more compared to February 2017. In February 2018, 0.57 percent accounted for the share of Kyrgyz citizens in a total number of foreign citizens who visited Turkey.

"In February 2018, 5,894 Tajik citizens visited Turkey, which is 2,097 people more compared to February 2017,” the report said. “In February 2018, 0.2 percent accounted for the share of Tajik citizens in a total number of foreign citizens who visited Turkey."

According to the report, in February 2018, 1.527 million foreign tourists visited Turkey.
