Uzbekistan and Lithuania are planning to increase mutual goods turnover, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Trade Ministry said in a message.
According to the information, discussion of the issue was carried out within the framework of the meeting between representatives of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry and Lithuanian Ambassador to Uzbekistan with a Moscow residence.
The sides discussed the current state of affairs and prospects of the bilateral trade and economic cooperation during the meeting.
To work out issues of increasing the mutual goods turnover the sides agreed on considering the possibility of holding another session of the Uzbek-Lithuanian intergovernmental committee in Tashkent in 2018.
The sides also discussed organization of the Lithuanian foreign minister’s visit to Uzbekistan in May 2018.
