Prices for goods and services in the construction sector of Kazakhstan increased by 4.9 percent in March 2018, compared to January 2017, the press service of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said.
In particular, the prices for construction and installation work in three months of 2018 increased by 5 percent, for machinery and equipment - by 4 percent, other works and expenses went up by 5.8 percent.
The increase in prices for materials, parts and structures purchased by construction organizations in the mentioned period amounted to 0.7 percent.
In the first quarter of 2018, prices for mortar increased by 2.1 percent, sand - by 1.6 percent, flat steel - by 1.2 percent, pipes - by 0.8 percent, paints and enamels - by 0.7 percent, brick - by 0.5 percent. Price on drywall fell by 0.8 percent, crushed stone - by 0.4 percent.
