The number of appeals received by the Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR) decreased by 222,200 in March 2018 as compared to the same month in 2017, ISKUR said.
The agency said that 383,565 people appealed to ISKUR in March 2018.
In March 2018, 88,032 people got employed, according to ISKUR.
According to ISKUR, the number of unemployed people stood at 2.3 million in Turkey in March 2018.
During the period, unemployed men accounted for 51 percent and women for 49 percent, said the agency.
