Building materials worth 111.9 million manats were produced in Azerbaijan in January-March 2018, which is by 38.7 percent more than in January-March 2017, according to the country’s State Statistics Committee.
Cement production increased by 25.8 percent to 579,700 tons, production of building lime decreased by 2.8 percent to 6,600 tons, production of asphalt increased by 41.7 percent to 17,800 tons, production of bricks grew by 50.7 percent to 59,000 cubic meters, production of ready-mixed concrete grew by 2.6 times to 262,900 tons, 2,470 tons of recycled marble, travertine, alabaster in January-March 2018 compared to January-March 2017.
