Deputy Minister of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov held talks on the digitalization of the real sector of the economy with Fernando Dal Zotto, Vice President for State Programs of the international digital security company Gemalto, on April 24, the press service of the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan reported on April 25.
According to the report, the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in Switzerland, the sales director and the director of innovative and technical marketing of the Gemalto also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, Vice President Dal Zotto noted that an open investment policy turned Uzbekistan in one of the most attractive countries for international companies, especially in the field of innovation and ICT.
Shermatov stressed that the Ministry of Innovation is open to cooperation with world corporations to stimulate the innovative development of the real sector of Uzbek economy.
Following the meeting, both sides agreed to compose a list of all possible projects in the field of innovation and continue close cooperation.
