The income of Kazakhstan’s Fund of Social Health Insurance (FSHI) in July 1, 2017 - April 30, 2018 amounted to 63.3 billion billion, the press service of FSHI said in a message.

Incomes of FSHI in April 2018 amounted to 8.17 billion tenge. Fifty-five billion tenge out of the total amount (about 87 percent) account for employers' contributions, 8.4 billion tenge (about 13 percent) - for contributions of individual entrepreneurs and individuals working under contracts of a civil-law nature.

The largest sums in the regions are still received from the cities of Almaty and Astana, as well as from the country’s Karaganda region.

All the funds received for compulsory social health insurance are kept in the National Bank, which manages them under the contract.

In November 2015 the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law "On compulsory social health insurance" aimed at implementing reforms in the implementation of compulsory social health insurance based on the principle of joint responsibility of the state, employers and citizens.

Fund of Social Health Insurance was established in 2016. Contributions to the fund started in July 2017.

Exchange rate for 3 May, 2018: $1 – 330 tenge
