Gross gold and foreign currency reserves of Uzbekistan decreased to $28.35 billion by May 1, 2018, which is 0.50 percent less than the figure by April 1 ($28.49 billion), the press service of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan stated in its message.
According to the information, foreign currency assets accounted for $14.42 billion (0.69-percent decrease), whereas monetary gold assets – for $13.94 billion (0.29-percent decrease).
The net gold and foreign currency reserves amounted to $27.084 billion by May 1 compared to $27.087 billion by April 1.
