A meeting with Ayed Nouehed, head of the Saudi Arabian company - Hajjan Trading & Industrial Services Company Ltd (HATCON) was held at the Ashgabat headquarters of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), says the message of the UIET.
"The proposals of UIET on joint implementation of investment projects aroused great interest," said the message.
The possibility of establishing a partnership in the field of trade, construction and agro-industry (agribusiness) was also discussed at the meeting.
The message said UIET members export confectionery to Saudi Arabia and are ready to supply other food products, including meat, vegetables, etc. The participants of the meeting were unanimous in the opinion that the representatives of private business of the two countries have great potential for joint work in various industries.
The share of the private sector in Turkmenistan's GDP is currently 63.1 percent.
