Polish company Owoce Natury seeks to organize import of Azerbaijani fruit concentrates to European markets, Sales Director at Owoce Natury Monika Pluta told Trend on May 17.
She noted that Owoce Natury is already importing fruits, vegetables and processed products from Georgia and other countries to Europe.
"We know that Azerbaijan is a good producer of fruits and fruit juices. Particularly, we are interested in pomegranates, pomegranate juice, concentrates and other products. We would like to know about available opportunities for importing from Azerbaijan to Europe. As far as I know, no juice is exported from Azerbaijan to Poland today, and we would like to take this opportunity," Pluta said.
Azerbaijan, according to her, has a great potential for export of fruit and vegetable products abroad.
"Our company is working with a big number of foreign countries. We import branded products with recognized taste qualities from different regions of the world. In Azerbaijan, for the first time, we are looking for opportunities and partners for work given the country's potential," Pluta said.
Owoce Natury is engaged in sale of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, and processed products. Last year, the company sold 37,000 tons of products.
