Azerbaijani agriculture producers will be able to see their products online, through a new online platform - aqrar.az, the project's manager Ulker Seyidova told Trend on May 23.
She said that the newly created portal will allow centralizing and facilitating the process of trading in agricultural goods.
"Entrepreneurs need to pass registration free of charge, after which they will be able to post ads on sale of agricultural products together with photos of these products. The sellers will be able to change the price during the entire term of placement," Seyidova noted.
Seyidova noted that the portal will not deal with deliveries of goods - this is to be handled by the sellers themselves. The main task of the new platform is to connect buyer with the seller.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the country produced agricultural products worth 1.18 billion manats in January-April 2018 - a 9-percent growth compared to the same period of 2017.
