GM Uzbekistan will stop production of Renault Matiz in July 2018, the press service of the company said on May 31.
The decision was made in accordance with the strategy of updating the model line, as well as taking into account the moral and technical obsolescence of the model.
Registration of applications for contracts on supply of Matiz cars has been stopped In this regard.
GM Uzbekistan noted that it will ensure fulfillment of obligations to consumers and emphasized that delivery of Matiz cars to final customers, who have already signed contracts, will be carried out in full and within the terms specified in the contracts.
Matiz is the fourth model put into production at the Asaka automobile plant in August 2001. In December 2004, production of Matiz Best cars with 1.0-liter engines and Matiz modifications with automatic transmissions started.
