Turkmen officials met with representatives of France’s IDEMIA company in the Turkmen State Migration Service, the State Migration Service said in a message May 31.
The Turkmen side reviewed the experience of the world’s leading company in the production of biometric passports, identity cards.
Since Turkmenistan is integrating into the modern world economic system, leading European companies show interest in cooperating with the country in this sphere.
The exchange of views on the possibilities of the Turkmenistan-France cooperation has revealed mutual desire to establish closer contacts in the field of migration.
French companies in Turkmenistan are represented in such areas as construction, transport, tourism and energy.
