The National Bank of Kazakhstan has restored the license for mandatory types of insurance to NSK JSC, the press service of the NSK said in a message.
On February 26 the National Bank of Kazakhstan suspended the license for compulsory insurance services for NSK JSC for 3 months, due to application of unreasonable amounts of insurance premium and the untimely implementation of insurance payment.
"From June 4, 2018, we continue to function fully in this class of insurance and 19 classes of voluntary insurance, maintaining the high level of quality and responsibility. More than half a million Kazakh citizens, 20,000 private companies, foreign organizations and state structures trusted our experience and competence in the field of insurance," the chairman of the NSK JSC Zharkyn Alzhanov said at a press conference.
As of May 1 2018, NSK JSC was a member of the top 10 insurance companies for collecting premiums. For four months, the insurer made payments to customers in excess of 1.1 billion tenges.
The company's assets amount to 17.4 billion tenge, insurance reserves - 10.4 billion tenge, equity capital - 6.3 billion tenge.
