Russian businessmen to build agricultural machinery plant in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan and Russia agreed on the construction of a joint plant for the production of sowing and tillage machinery in the North Kazakhstan region, the press service of the regional executive body said in a message.

The corresponding agreement was signed during the negotiations of the head of the North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov with the Governor of the Russia Omsk Region Alexander Burkov.

"We would like as your help with launching of the production of sowing and tillage machinery in you region. Sibzavod Agro also plans to open a factory in the North Kazakhstan region to modernize and overhaul old tractors and assemble new ones. We need a reliable partner here," said Alexander Burkov.

Aksakalov, in turn, called these projects interesting, necessary and assured that the regional authorities will provide all necessary assistance to the Russian side.

He also invited Omsk businessmen to implement more projects in the North Kazakhstan region, guarantying them favorable climate for work.
