The Ministry of Commerce of China organized a seminar for Turkmen entrepreneurs in Changsha, Hunan Province,said in a message of Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The delegation included heads and specialists of large private business enterprises of Turkmenistan, specializing in various industries.
The development of small and medium-sized enterprises in China was discussed at the meeting. The audience was provided with information on choosing a competitive strategy for small and medium-sized businesses, methods of stimulating it, various support funds and types of lending, as well as examples of the organization of innovative enterprises.
On the sidelines of the seminar, business leaders of Turkmen private business enterprises held business meetings with their Chinese counterparts.
Turkmenistan has taken a course towards a gradual transition to a market economy, which is reflected in the Constitution. At this stage, a regulatory and legal framework is being created, commodity and raw materials, currency exchanges, labor exchanges are created, conditions are created for free wholesale trade.
The goals were set for the establishment of market infrastructure, commodity market, stock market, information, consultative and audit centers in the country and other institutions.
