Products worth 430.2 million manats were produced by metallurgical companies in Azerbaijan in January-June 2018, reads a report of the country’s State Statistics Committee.
The report says the volume of output of metallurgical industry increased by 15 percent while the production of finished goods grew 64.1 percent in January-June 2018.
Azerbaijan produced 154,100 tons of fittings in January-June 2018, which is 35.5 percent more than in January-June 2017.
In January-June 2018, 28,700 tons of steel pipes were produced in Azerbaijan, that is by 5.2 percent more than in January-June 2017.
The volume of steel casting production stood at 198,600 tons in January-June 2018, which is 3.6 percent more than in January-June 2017.
Azerbaijan exported 24,522.6 tons of ferrous metal pipes worth $19.393 million in January-May 2018, which is by 12 percent more (by 24.8 percent more in money terms) than in January-May 2017.
