In January-June of this year, Azerbaijan imported 9,588 vehicles, compared to 3,483 vehicles imported during the same period of last year, said the statistical report of the State Customs Committee (SCC).
Of the total number of vehicles imported for the 1H2018, 8,545 are cars and motor vehicles. In January-June of 2017, 2,981 cars and motor vehicles were imported ,said the report.
In addition, 978 trucks were imported to Azerbaijan in the 1H2018 (416 in January-June 2017). The rest of the imports fell on other types of vehicles.
In 2017, Azerbaijan imported 13,098 vehicles compared to 5,746 in 2016.
