Turkmenistan increases production of construction materials
Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, July 18
By Huseyn Hasanov– Trend:
The number of companies producing various types of construction materials has significantly increased in Turkmenistan, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported July 18.
These construction materials include concrete and autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, a wide range of high-quality finishing materials, electrical products, pipe and other products.
The CTT company is one of the biggest local suppliers of dry building mixtures based on gypsum binders, as well as drywall. The company located in the Koytendag district of Turkmenistan’s Lebap province uses natural resources of the province as raw materials.
From gypsum, the company annually produces up to 60,000 tons of high-quality mixtures – spackling paste for finishing of premises.
Last year, due to installation of a new automated line for the production of drywall with a capacity of two million drywall panels a year, the company increased the output of demanded products.
The company also manufactures reinforced concrete products: beams, floors of buildings, internal partitions. Entrepreneurs meet the demand for high-quality and inexpensive products not only for the needs of their province, but also for other provinces of Turkmenistan.
By 2020, the private sector of Turkmenistan plans to ensure 70 percent of the gross domestic product, according to the report.
