Uzbekistan may soon get its own crowdfunding platform, Crowdfunders.uz, local media reported.
The launch of the platform will take place immediately after receiving applications for the first 15 projects.
The authors of the first 50 projects will participate in a training program dedicated to implementation of projects through crowdfunding. For the five selected projects, commercials will be shot to raise funds through the platform. Also, if necessary, all authors will be assisted in acquiring patents.
To register a project, applicants must fill out a form on the website. The project will be assigned to a manager who will help complete the idea and publish it on the platform. The platform guarantees complete confidentiality until the project is published on the website.
The author publishes the project, indicating the necessary information, including the required amount and terms of implementation, and also, if desired, indicates gratuity awards for certain contributions. Everyone can support a useful project or just an interesting idea as a contributor (sponsor), receiving in return a reward from the authors.
In addition to the classical form of crowdfunding, Crowdfunders.uz considers possibility of implementation of so-called crowdinvesting, where investors can get a share in the company for their contribution to the project.
