Orders for supply of non-oil products from Azerbaijan, worth $34.2 million, were accepted via Azexport (www.azexport.az) in June 2018, according to the Export Review published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
The report says the applications worth $284.4 million were accepted since the beginning of 2018, which is 47.6 percent higher than the indicator for the same period last year.
In general, since the beginning of Azexport's functioning, i.e. January 1, 2017 until June 30, 2018, the applications for supply of non-oil products from Azerbaijan, worth $759.4 million, were received from 96 countries.
Russia is leading in terms of the applications for 1H2018. Thus, 18.7 percent of all applications accounts for Russia, followed by the US (8.6 percent), Turkey (6.7 percent), Iran (5.1 percent) and the UK (5.1 percent).
Analysis of the applications shows that the biggest number of orders in June 2018 accounted for sugar, tobacco, wine, cotton seed oil, pomegranate juice, carrots, mushrooms, motor oil, tomato juice, wheat cereal, confectionery, dairy products, apples and strawberries.
Azexport, which is managed by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, aims to provide information on Azerbaijani goods and to be a favorable platform for their sale in foreign and domestic markets.
