The volume of products produced by small and medium-sized businesses in Kazakhstan’s Atyrau region increased by 38.7 percent and amounted to 413.3 billion tenge in January-June 2018, the regional communications service of the Atyrau region said in a message.
Entrepreneurs produced products worth 288 billion tenge in January-June 2017.
As of July 1, 2018, there are 45,445 small and medium-sized businesses in Atyrau region, which is 80 percent of the total number of registered entities. This figure grew by 7.1 percent compared to the same period of 2017.
Since early 2018, 36 projects worth 3.7 billion tenge have been financed and 110 new jobs are planned to be created within the "Business Roadmap 2020" program.
