Uzbekistan launches card-to-card transfers for all banks of country

Uzbekistan’s payment service Payme launched a card-to-card transfer for all banks of the country, the Uzbek company stated.

According to the information, Payme has recently achieved the agreement with Hamkorbank, and, thus, all the banks of the country became connected to the service.

The commission for the transfer is 1 percent, the limit for the transfer amount is 10 million soums per month.

The company also said that they are currently holding a campaign for new users. Winners will receive 300,000 soums on their bank cards.

On April 19, Payme introduced two new services at the Bank Expo-2018 annual exhibition: Online Loans and International Money Transfers from Visa, MasterCard and MIR.

On the same day the mobile operator Beeline Uzbekistan completed development of a new product that allows banks of Uzbekistan to issue mobile microloans to holders of plastic cards that are subscribers of Beeline. Beeline’s MyCredit has first became available in the Payme system.
