Korean Town to emerge in Uzbekistan's capital

A Korean Town will be created in the capital of Uzbekistan, the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan reported.

The announcement was made during the negotiations between First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Kasimkhojayev and Managing Owner of the Korean company Triple Crown Group Chung Kyung-Sik.

The parties discussed implementation of the project on building a modern hotel complex in Tashkent.

The Korean side provided information on the planned implementation of the Korean Town project in Tashkent, underlining that Korean towns exist in many countries of the world. Investors mentioned creation of all conditions on the territory of the planned Korean Town in Tashkent, including provision of a guide-interpreter for Korean tourists, cafés and restaurants with Korean and European cuisine.

The Korean delegation also announced launch of charter flights in August 2018 to Nukus, and in September - to the cities of the Fergana Valley, including Fergana and Namangan. According to preliminary estimates, the number of guests will exceed 200 people, including Korean tourists, businessmen, investors, etc.
