In January-July 2018, Azerbaijan imported 11,700 vehicles compared to 4,468 vehicles imported during the same period of 2017, according to the statistics report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
Of the total number of vehicles imported in January-July 2018, 10,402 are cars and motor vehicles. In January-July 2017, 3,791 cars and motor vehicles were imported.
Moreover, 1,157 trucks were imported to Azerbaijan in January-July 2018 (519 in January-July 2017). The rest of the imports accounted for other types of vehicles.
In 2017, Azerbaijan imported 13,098 vehicles compared to 5,746 in 2016.
