In 1H2018, tax revenues to the state budget of Uzbekistan amounted to 24.2 trillion soums, which is 43.1 percent more compared to 1H2017, the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan said.
Currently, almost 430,000 legal entities are operating in the republic, which is 30,000 more than in 1H2017.
The number of individual entrepreneurs also increased from 195,000 to 230,000.
The lion’s share of all tax revenues came from trade enterprises – 3.3 trillion soums (an increase of 70.7 percent).
Tax revenues from construction companies amounted to 1 trillion soums (a 70.6 percent increase), from food industry enterprises – to 833.5 billion soums, from chemical industry enterprises – to 209 billion soums, catering enterprises – to 104.6 billion soums.
Individual entrepreneurs, local tax revenues, duties and fees accounted for some 2.9 trillion soums.
