The volume of production of unprocessed and semi-processed gold, or the gold in the form of powder, amounted to 53,432 kilograms in January-July 2018 in Kazakhstan, which is 9.7 percent more than in the same period of 2017.
According to the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, the volume of production of unprocessed and semi-processed silver, or the silver in the form of powder, amounted to 575,426 kilograms during this period, which is 9.6 percent less than a year earlier.
The volume of production of unprocessed gold amounted to 85,029 kilograms in 2017 in Kazakhstan, which was 13.8 percent more than in 2016. The volume of production of unprocessed silver was 1 058 605 kilograms, which was 10.8 percent less than a year earlier.
