In January-August 2018, the prices for agricultural products sold in the Kostanay Region of Kazakhstan increased by 1.2 percent, the Statistics Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of National Economy said in a statement.
Since the beginning of this year, the prices for crop products sold by agriculture entities have increased by 2.5 percent, the prices for livestock products have decreased by 3.6 percent.

The price for oat has increased by 6.4 percent, for soft wheat - by 3.5 percent, for barley - by 2.1 percent.
Carrot has risen in price by 11 percent, cabbage – by 6.8 percent; onions have fallen in price by 43.8 percent, beet – by 5.8 percent, potatoes – by 0.1 percent.
The price for sunflower seeds has increased by 1 percent; the price for rapeseed has decreased by 11.5 percent.
Beef has risen in price by 3.7 percent, horse meat - by 2.1 percent; mutton has fallen in price by 8.9 percent, pork - by 5.9 percent.
The prices for eggs and cow milk have fallen by 24.4 and 8.5 percent.
