Prices for exported goods in Kazakhstan increase by 9.5%

In January – July this year, the prices for the exported goods in Kazakhstan have increased by 9.5 percent, and for the imported goods - by 3.2 percent, the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a statement.

Since the beginning of the year, the prices for export supplies of copper have increased by 17.9 percent, oil - by 14.2 percent, manganese ore - by 13.5 percent, aluminum - by 10.3 percent, rolled ferrous metal products - by 8.4 percent, natural gas - by 7.4 percent, copper ore - by 6.9 percent, ferroalloys - by 6 percent, lead - by 4.8 percent, coal - by 3.1 percent, zinc - by 2.4 percent.

The increase in prices has been observed for barley at the rate of 13.4 percent, cotton – at 6.2 percent, wheat – at 3.7 percent, the reduction in prices has been observed for wool at the rate of 0.7 percent.

Of the imported products, the tobacco has risen in price by 15.6 percent, the fruits and nuts - by 11.2 percent, the poultry and fish - by 6.4 percent, the tea - by 5.9 percent, the vegetable oil has fallen in price by 4.5 percent, the sugar - by 3.6 percent, the margarine - by 3 percent, the pasta - by 2 percent.

The prices for the shoes have risen by by 23.4 percent, the paper – by 10.4 percent, the plastic – by 8.1 percent, the textile products – by 5.9 percent, the paints and varnishes – by 0.9 percent.
