The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand in Turkmenistan (with residence in Ankara) Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit has visited the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) in Ashgabat, the UIET said in a statement.
The discussion of opportunities for cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism, the creation of joint ventures for the production of household appliances has taken place during the visit.
"The Thai envoy noted the presence of the most favorable conditions for the intensification of bilateral relations at the level of business entities in Turkmenistan," the message says.
The parties have expressed interest in developing business contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries, holding business forums and other international events for this purpose.
"Taking into account the great experience of Thailand in the tourism business, special attention has been paid to the long-term plans of activity in the national tourist zone of "Avaza", the UIET stated.
