Following the priorities of the state policy, Uzbekistan’s joint stock commercial Asia Alliance Bank passed an energy audit of the bank's buildings to assess energy efficiency and energy consumption, the bank's press service said in a statement.

The energy audit was carried out by local SKB Ltd., which has many years of successful experience in this field.

Based on the results of the energy audit, the data on energy consumption were collected and analyzed. In addition, the fuel and energy balance was formed, instrumental studies of the efficiency of boiler operation and lighting system were carried out. A regulatory (baseline) energy consumption line was developed to monitor and control energy consumption. The energy efficiency category of the bank was also determined, an energy passport and a list of measures to improve energy efficiency were developed.

Taking into account the above, according to the results of energy audit, the buildings of Asia Alliance Bank JSCB have been assigned a high energy efficiency class at level B.

The current level of energy consumption of the buildings of the financial institution is higher relative to the level of energy consumption of buildings in European countries, which indicates the potential for increasing energy efficiency and implementation of relevant activities.

In this regard, Asia Alliance Bank plans to implement a set of measures to improve the energy efficiency of its buildings, including introduction of a system for controlling energy consumption, making calculations of savings and payback periods.
