In August 2018, 24 companies with Israeli capital have been registered in Turkey, which is five companies more than in the same month of 2017, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) told Trend Sept. 26.
The total capital of Israeli companies registered in August has amounted to 13.1 million Turkish liras, while in August 2017 it was 1.8 million liras, the TOBB stated.
In August, the number of companies registered in Turkey has decreased by 19.92 percent, and the number of registered cooperatives has increased by 25.68 percent.
In August 2018, 5,443 companies and 93 cooperatives have been registered in Turkey, while Istanbul accounted for 86.42 percent of all the registered companies and cooperatives.
In January-August 2018, the number of companies registered in Turkey has increased by 21.65 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
The number of cooperatives registered in Turkey in the first eight months of 2018 has increased by 18.41 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
According to the data of the TOBB, the number of companies closed in the first eight months of 2018 has decreased by 12.32 percent, and the number of closed cooperatives has decreased by 12.34 percent.
The official exchange rate on September 26 is 6.1350 TL/USD.
