Authorities of Kazakhstan’s Almaty city have adopted the city plan, which includes more than 100 special measures for the qualitative development of education, health, housing, and comfortable and safe environment for citizens, the city mayor Bauyrzhan Baibek stated.
He made the remarks at a meeting with the Almaty officials. Baibek said that a master plan for the development of Almaty until 2050 is being developed together with international consultants on the instructions of the Kazakh president.
"Our task is to make Almaty comfortable, convenient, to improve the quality of life for everyone," said Baibek.
The mayor also spoke about the digitization of economy in Almaty.
"Digitization is the most effective mechanism to ensure the transparency of the economy, reduce bureaucracy,” Baibek noted.
