The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar region amounted to $5.78 million in the first seven months of this year, the region’s administration told Trend.

During the reporting period, track equipment and railway devices, cement and concrete products, binders for the production of foundry molds and other products worth $5.76 million were exported from the region to Azerbaijan.

Imports to Pavlodar region from Azerbaijan, in turn, included liquid meters, textiles and other products worth about $20,000.

"Compared to the same period of 2017, the indicator of mutual trade decreased by 6.2 percent due to a decline in the exports of track equipment from $5.8 million to $4.8 million, respectively," the region’s administration noted.

It also stated that three enterprises with Azerbaijani participation are engaged in small and medium-sized business activities in the Pavlodar region: Grand Kachestva LLP, Krepost-KZ LLP and Kapital Tikinti LLP. They are engaged in wholesale and retail trade and provision of laundry services.
