International exhibitions “UZAGROEXPO – 2018 Agriculture” and “UZPRODEXPO – 2018 Food Industry” started in Tashkent on Nov. 21, Gulshan Chalova, the project manager of UZAGROEXPO, told Trend on Nov. 22.
The exhibitions, which will be held until Nov. 23, are organized by the International Expo Group.
In 2018, a total of 170 companies from 20 countries will take part in the two exhibitions. The participant list includes Azerbaijan, Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Israel, India, Iran, Spain, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Latvia, the Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic and Uzbekistan.
According to Chalova, Azerbaijan at the UZPRODEXPO food exhibition is represented by the products of the confectionery company Can-Pa.
In general, foreign companies make up 65 percent of exhibitors.
Companies from Iran, China, Korea, the Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, France are showing especially high interest to the events. Iran stands out with an impressive list of 34 companies. France’s exposition will present seven companies. The exposition of the Voronezh region of Russia will present five companies.
Agricultural exhibition UZAGROEXPO is the largest industry event of the Autumn in Uzbekistan.
UZPRODEXPO also annually demonstrates a wide range of equipment and solutions for all sectors of the food and processing industry.
Can-Pa LLC has been operating since March 18, 2003. The confectionery company is engaged in both production activities and retail. The company is a distributor of Turkish companies Elit, Taha, Ece, Ekmekçioğlu Hicret, etc.
