The Department of Technologies and Innovations of Azerbaijan’s Agriculture Ministry is actively preparing for the upcoming forum on agriculture technologies and green energy “AgTech and Green Energy”, advisor to the agriculture minister for innovations Shabnam Mammadova.
She said that the two-day forum will be held Dec. 10-11 in Baku, with the joint participation and support of Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry.
“This is the first joint forum organized by two government departments,” she noted. “The main goal of the forum is to support innovative development in the agro-industrial sector, as well as in the energy sector, in particular on the use of alternative and renewable energy sources. As part of this large-scale platform, we plan to establish new contacts with experts in the agriculture area, including with foreign businessmen, and also to discuss the current capabilities of the national economy in creating sustainable business models and implementing innovative projects.”
She noted that the new platform for discussions is another opportunity aimed at supporting the use of alternative and renewable energy sources, which in the modern world meets the requirements of business and promotion of real economy.
