Since the end of June of this Iranian year up till now, 81,899 tons of goods were exported from Iran’s Astara city via 1,249 railcars, Director General of the Iranian Astara Customs Office, Rasoul Omidi said in an interview with IRNA.
He said that during the reporting period, 93,716 tons of goods have been supplied to the Astara Railway Terminal via 1,565 railcars.
Omidi said that household goods, ceramics, cement, fruits, stone and clinker have been exported to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russia, while Media Descriptor File (MDF) and cereals have been imported from these countries.
