Considering the state strategy aimed at the growth of the non-oil sector of the economy, including the development of women’s entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurs Association wants to pay maximum attention to the agricultural sector, head of the association Sakina Babayeva told Trend.
She said that according to the objectives of the Association, women’s entrepreneurship in the next three years should cover all the main segments of the agricultural sector.
“The development of the agriculture sector as a whole is a priority task of the state, and we believe that women’s entrepreneurship should play a significant role in the development of the private sector of the economy,” said Babayeva. “To this end, we intend to implement projects aimed at supporting women’s entrepreneurship in various segments of agriculture, especially in the farming.”
She noted that for this purpose, special trainings and seminars will be held for women who wish to develop their business in this segment of the agriculture sector.
She added that trainings and seminars will be held free of charge.
